If you have been seeking a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect, this workshop is for you. The Koshas and Your Well-Being offers gentle, trauma-sensitive yoga and self-care practices designed to restore balance across all the layers of the self. Led by Shawntell Layaw, this experience invites you to explore how to support well-being by centering a holistic approach to wellness by integrating the five layers of the self – body, breath, mind, heart, and spirit. You’ll leave with tools to ground your self-care in balance, reflection, and community connection.
What You’ll Experience:
A grounding welcome and intention-setting circle
Introduction to the Koshas - the layers of body, breath, mind, heart, and spirit
Guided visualization, journaling, and affirmations
Yoga practice inviting calm and ease as a way to integrate and restore balance
Well-Being Self Assessment for self-care support
Reflection and group dialogue to support a vision for your optimal well-being

Community members, health educators, BIPOC individuals, yoga teachers, and anyone seeking gentle, mindful ways to support health and well-being.
No prior yoga experience is required. All bodies and backgrounds are welcome.
